تورمالین روبلایت (Rubellite Tourmaline)

روبلایت یکی از ارزشمندترین انواع تورمالین است که با رنگ‌های قرمز، قرمز متمایل به صورتی و قرمز ارغوانی شناخته می‌شود. رنگ قرمز این گوهر عمدتاً به حضور منگنز در ساختار شیمیایی آن مربوط است. نمونه‌های مرغوب روبلایت معمولاً رنگی عمیق، زنده و اشباع‌شده دارند و در نورهای مختلف جلوه‌ای بسیار چشمگیر نشان می‌دهند

در ارزیابی روبلایت، رنگ مهم‌ترین عامل است. قرمز خالص، زنده و اشباع‌شده، به‌خصوص رنگ‌هایی با تون مناسب و بدون تمایل شدید به قهوه‌ای، معمولاً ارزش و جذابیت بیشتری دارند. شفافیت، پاکی، کیفیت و تناسب تراش، وزن، ابعاد و کمیابی نیز در تعیین ارزش این گوهر نقش دارند. نمونه‌های درشت، شفاف و دارای رنگ قرمز قوی و یکنواخت می‌توانند از ارزش کلکسیونی بالاتری برخوردار باشند

Rubellite Tourmaline

Rubellite is one of the most prized varieties of Tourmaline, known for its red, pinkish-red, and purplish-red hues. Its red coloration is primarily associated with the presence of manganese within the crystal structure. Fine Rubellite typically displays vivid, deeply saturated color and can exhibit exceptional visual appeal under different lighting conditions

High-quality Rubellite is found in regions including Brazil, Mozambique, Nigeria, Madagascar, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Brazil, particularly Minas Gerais, is one of the world’s best-known sources of fine Tourmaline and valuable Rubellite

Color is the most important factor in evaluating Rubellite. Pure, vivid, and strongly saturated red, particularly with an attractive tone and minimal brownish influence, is generally more desirable. Transparency, clarity, cutting quality and proportions, carat weight, dimensions, and rarity also contribute to its overall value. Large, transparent specimens with strong and evenly distributed red color can hold significant collector appeal

Rubellite Tourmaline has a hardness of approximately 7–7.5 on the Mohs scale. Its range of colors, brilliance, and suitability for faceting make it popular in rings, pendants, earrings, and fine jewelry. High-quality and larger Rubellite specimens, particularly those displaying pure red color and good transparency, are highly appreciated by collectors of fine colored gemstones
