تانزانایت (Tanzanite)

تانزانایت یکی از کمیاب‌ترین گوهرهای رنگی جهان و گونه‌ای ارزشمند از زویسیت (Zoisite) است که به‌دلیل رنگ‌های عمیق آبی، آبی-بنفش و پدیده نوری منحصربه‌فرد تری‌کروئیسم (Trichroism) شهرت دارد. این گوهر تنها از یک منطقه شناخته‌شده در شمال تانزانیا به‌دست می‌آید و از همین رو، جایگاه ویژه‌ای در میان گوهرهای کمیاب و کلکسیونی دارد

مهم‌ترین خاستگاه و معادن: منبع تجاری شناخته‌شده تانزانایت در محدوده Merelani Hills در نزدیکی آروشا و در مجاورت کوه کلیمانجارو قرار دارد

ارزش‌گذاری جهانی: شدت و کیفیت رنگ آبی و بنفش، تون و اشباع، شفافیت، پاکی، کیفیت تراش، وزن، اندازه و شدت تری‌کروئیسم از مهم‌ترین عوامل تعیین‌کننده ارزش تانزانایت هستند. نمونه‌هایی با رنگ آبی-بنفش عمیق، شفافیت بالا و تراش دقیق، از جذابیت ویژه‌ای در بازار گوهرهای لوکس برخوردارند

کاربردها: تانزانایت با سختی حدود ۶ تا ۷ در مقیاس موس و کلیواژ مشخص، بیشتر در آویز، گوشواره و جواهرات فاخر استفاده می‌شود. نمونه‌های درشت، شفاف و دارای رنگ استثنایی نیز جایگاه ویژه‌ای میان مجموعه‌داران گوهرهای کمیاب دارند

Stones displaying deep blue-violet color, high transparency, and precision cutting are particularly desirable in the luxury gemstone market

Applications: With a hardness of approximately 6–7 on the Mohs scale and distinct cleavage, Tanzanite is primarily used in pendants, earrings, and fine jewelry. Large, transparent specimens with exceptional color are especially valued by collectors of rare gemstones
