آمیترین دو‌رنگ یکی از جذاب‌ترین انواع کوارتز طبیعی است که در یک کریستال، ترکیبی طبیعی از بنفش آمتیست و زرد تا طلایی سیترین را به نمایش می‌گذارد. این دو رنگ در نتیجه تفاوت شرایط اکسیداسیون آهن در بخش‌های مختلف کریستال طی فرآیند شکل‌گیری ایجاد می‌شوند و مرز طبیعی میان دو ناحیه رنگی، ویژگی شاخص این گوهر به شمار می‌رود

 

 

مشهورترین منبع تجاری آمیترین طبیعی، معدن Anahí در بولیوی است. آمیترین‌های این منطقه به‌دلیل تفکیک رنگی مشخص، شفافیت مناسب و ترکیب جذاب بنفش و زرد، از شناخته‌شده‌ترین نمونه‌های این گوهر در بازار جهانی هستند

 

در ارزیابی آمیترین دو‌رنگ، شدت و کیفیت هر دو رنگ، تعادل میان بخش بنفش و زرد، وضوح مرز رنگ‌ها، شفافیت، پاکی، کیفیت تراش، وزن و اندازه اهمیت دارند. نمونه‌هایی با دو رنگ زنده و متعادل، تفکیک رنگی واضح و شفافیت بالا، معمولاً جذابیت بیشتری برای بازار گوهرهای رنگی و مجموعه‌داران دارند

Bicolor Ametrine is one of the most distinctive varieties of natural Quartz, displaying a natural combination of amethyst purple and citrine yellow to golden hues within a single crystal. The two colors develop due to differences in the oxidation state of iron within different areas of the quartz crystal during its formation. The natural boundary between the two color zones is one of the defining characteristics of this gemstone

 

 

The most renowned commercial source of natural Ametrine is the Anahí Mine in Bolivia. Ametrine from this locality is recognized for its distinct color separation, good transparency, and attractive combination of purple and yellow, making it one of the best-known sources of this gemstone in the international market
